Nathalie Brochu Wins Prestigious 2023 Canadian Coach of the Year Award

The Head Coach of the Canadian Women’s National Team has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Petro Canada Coach of the Year Award given by the Coaches Association of Canada. The award was given at the recent Sports Leadership Award Gala in Calgary.

It is the first time a handball coach has won the prestigious award. Nathalie has been the coach of the national team for seven years now and has helped over 45 athletes achieve their dream of representing Canada on the international stage.

This year shed led the Reds to a silver medal at the North American Championships en route to qualifying for the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile, her second straight Pan Am Games appearance. It truly is a well deserved honour.
