Toronto Scores Silver at Celtique Thanksgiving Tournament

One hopes that there is a carpenter on Handball Club Toronto’s roster as they’re going to need to build more shelves to handle the hardware they keep bringing in.

HCT was able to land a silver at the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Celtique Handball Club in Montreal. It is one of the top events in the Canadian handball calendar each year and it is the highest that Ontario has finished in the past two decades.

After an opening loss to the strong hosts, the team rebounded by three consecutive victories over tough Champlain, Rosemont, and Celtique 2 sides.

Toronto will try and upgrade to gold next year when Celtique host their biggest tournament yet as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.
