Toronto To Host Major Beach Handball Tournament In August

The hottest beach event of the season is taking place during the August long weekend as Handball Club Toronto will host a beach handball tournament at the beautiful Woodbine Beach in the trendy Beaches area, just 10 minutes from downtown Toronto.

Teams are expected to come from across Ontario, Western Canada, Quebec, and the United States. It is an open event and individual players are also welcome to contact the organizing committee if they’re interested in participating.

With four major airports close by, the tournament is easily accessible from anywhere in North America. With low cost air carriers such as Swoop, Flair, Lynx, Southwest, WestJet in addition to traditional airlines such as Air Canada, United, American, Delta among other air carriers, flights to Toronto are plentiful and cheap.
